Abstract:
The teacher training is characterized as a moment reality check and conflict between personal and professional expectations. As such, this period of exploration, learning, challenges and the prospect of unemployment, that trainees face, trigger a set of possible symptoms of fostering the development of problems of physical and mental health.
This research involved 517 students of our country trainees of both sexes, of which 128 (24.8%) males and 389 (75.2%) females, from different disciplinary groups and covering various teacher training institutions. The objective was to validate a shortened version of the questionnaire “Evaluation of stress teacher training”, built by Francisco (2006), for “behold” more objective in its applicability. The instrument features a Likert scale with five points (1. Disagree 2. Disagree 3. Neither agree nor disagree, 4. Agree 5. I totally agree).
The validity study, we conclude that the correlation coefficients item / total scale exhibit significant values to be considered, highlighting the internal consistency, measured by Cronbach’s alpha, which revealed the value of (0.92), allowing adjusted values to use to get the information you want with this population group.
