In recent years the wine tourism phenomenon is present in various community settings such as the OJ Spanish Ribera del Duero and D.O.C. la Rioja, becoming an important tool for image management and tourism in rural areas that were neglected and abandoned in the mind of the tourist or traveler. Then several alternatives are presented to share the wine with interesting leisure activities that lead to cultural enjoyment and wine in an area with significant potential for integration into a wine route. Currently D.O.C. Rioja already has such certification, while DO BANK is in the process of creating one. Thanks to wine tourism, the county, town and community is favored in the distribution of local products and improve its tourist image nationally and even internationally. The possibility of belonging to a particular Wine Route, involves the improvement of its infrastructure, coordination of public and private institutions and the efforts of managers, professionals and winemakers in the industry. A difficult task, but not impossible with constant work may provide an alternative to encourage the consumption of tourists and wine sales compared to the current financial crisis.
