Title: THE ROLE OF THE NEAR AND THE POLITICAL IDEOLOGY IN THE POSITIONING OF TRADITIONAL NEWS DAILY: THE CASE OF UNIVERSITY STUDENTS IN THE UEMC

Abstract:
The near coverage of near events and the ideology arising from the connection to politics are two elements that have been widely studied by the scientific literature. This paper tries to analyze from the perspective of a portion of the audience, the perception of various newspapers about the two elements mentioned above. Specifically, it proposes an analysis of the perceptions of university students using correspondence analysis, a widely used multivariate statistical technique. The reported test results show the importance of the two mentioned elements in the structure of the market in perceptive thus competitive groups.
