Abstract:
This article aims at reviewing some of the studies that relate the higher education students’ motivation to different dimensions of teachers’ pedagogic performance in higher education. We emphasize theories of motivation that focus on the students’ self-regulation and self-determination and on the dimensions of teachers’ performance that may contribute to promote more self-regulation and intrinsic motivation in students.
